Join us this week as we begin our journey through Psalm 46. One of the questions that comes up for us this week is, do we really know what it means to be still?

This week we are finishing up our comments and reflection on Psalm 91, and we find something unexpected.

Whose approval do we seek? Who gets to weigh in on what work is valuable?

"Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."

Colossians 3:23 NLT

This week on the podcast, we will be taking the first half of Psalm 91 verse by verse and giving you an opportunity to come to your own conclusions before you hear ours.

What is on our job description when it comes to the Lord? Today's message finds many promptings in scripture to work with love as our motivation. Then, Pastor Rob shares some practical ways we can invite love into our work.

Today we begin a new topic in our series, The Way, focusing on work. In scripture, we find God's heart and intention for our work.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10 ESV

We thank Pastor Dave Koenigsberg for sharing the message today. The passage From 2 Peter reminds us that we who know the Lord are here for a purpose. We need to pray for the Holy Spirit to give us B.O.B. (listen to find out) to compassionately share the truth and love of Jesus in our relationships.
